My name is Murphy Sola, the Family/ Aiga/ Whanau fieldworker for Central. I am part of a big extended family and I also have my nuclear family, which consists of my fiancée and my two cool children, a girl and boy. I love helping people and it would be a privilege to support anyone who has a loved one living with a mental illness.

It is difficult to see someone you love living with an illness and especially with an illness that has a lot of stigma attached to it. However, at Supporting Families we could help you with the support, education, information so you could learn about the mental illness that is affecting your loved one. I can visit you at your home or you can visit me at our central office or we could even have a coffee at a café. I will be happy to listen to anything that you need support with and I will try my best to help you.

My name is Wendy Siu, a staff member of central team of SF Auckland. In my role, as an Asian Family Fieldworker, I am able to offer services in ways which meet the cultural needs of families and whanau as I have been working with Asian Families for four years. I believe that with my experiences, my knowledge and my language skills of Cantonese, Mandarin as well as English I can make a significant contribution to the Asian Families and whanau.
